Find out if a program is accredited
It's important that you verify that the program you are thinking about is accredited. You can find this out in a couple of ways:

accrediting agency - if you know the name of the accrediting agency you can go to this list and click on the link to the accrediting organization's website which will have a link to a list of accredited programs, or
- profession/ field - you can go to this list, find your profession or field, click on the link to the agency, then go to its website and go to its list of accredited programs.
